Oftentimes, when challenges arise in a marriage, either or both of the couple can begin to struggle with discouragement. There are tons of emotions that can creep in through the process. There could be feelings of anxiety, overwhelm, frustration and discouragement. In situations like this, it is important to seek solace in God\’s word so that you can feel empowered and stable to face the day. God\’s word will give you the strength and power to overcome the sadness that you currently feel.

While engaging in God\’s word, pay attention to the stirrings in your heart and instructions that the Holy Spirit can be giving you. He can lead you to resources like books, courses, training, or articles that can change the perspective you currently have about the issues you are facing or he can lead you to teachers, spiritual leaders, or professionals who can function as counselors and mentors for you directly and indirectly. Seeking solace in God\’s word is a tool for divine grace and strength but God always speaks further by changing your mindset on the issue or even expanding it through external trusted resources that deal further with the issue.
