Why You Need To Love And Appreciate Yourself

Take a break and love yourself!
Yes you!………I mean you! Don\’t just read this words but digest it in you. You are so unique. You are so special to God. Why not just, just fall in love with You?
Stop feeling so unimportant. Even if you have been jilted, abused ,raped , lonely etc. God still has a purpose for you. He sees you and guides you through life for a destined reign.
Sometimes we are so buffeted by living that we hardly know who we are. You have been ridiculed, insulted, underrated, beaten up by life but God loves you. You don\’t have to join the chorus voice that says \”You are nothing\”.
Though we have faults, we are not perfect, we fall into sins and keep coming back but you are not useless and worthless to God. He doesn\’t love you less by the mistakes you make.
Whatever people says about you, have it at the back of your mind that you were created in God\’s image (Genesis 1:27). The lord cares so much about you. If He cares about the sparrows, about animals etc, why won\’t He care about you. He even knows the number of hair on your head (Matthew 10: 29-31).
He has the best plans for you. He watches over you. He knew you even when you were in the womb (Jeremiah 29: 11).
Stop caring about what people says about you. You are beautiful, and wonderfully made (Psalm 139: 13-14). God loves you even before you knew him. He sent his son to die for you on the cross.
Think about your life and notice God\’s grace upon you. Think about the times he saved you. I remember a time I was preparing for a professional exam and I fell sick the previous day before the exam. It was so terrible thay I almost died. The doctor said if they had brought me few minutes late , it would have been too late for me. Inspite of all they thought, God healed me in few minutes. He kept me. His mercies kept me. So many times I have gone wrong but he still picked me up and drew me nearer to the cross. Think about your life and your family. Has God not been good to you? It doesn\’t matter if you don\’t have a car or house or luxuries of life. Thank God for breath. You can\’t create it. He has kept you in his arms. He engraved you in his palms ( Isaiah 49:16).
Are you tired of life? Why not relax. Are you lost in the world? Why not crawl back to his arms. A life without christ is a life filled with crisis. Its meaningless to be lost in the world. It\’s meaningless when you are so interested in the treasures and material things of the world and not seeking God\’s plan for their life.
God cares about your relationships and marriages. He orchestrated it. (NKJV)Genesis 2:18 And the LORD God said, \”It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.\”
He cares so much about your commitment to your partner. (NKJV)Genesis 2:24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
He knows you would need someone as a companion. Make him the centre of your relationship/marriage. He is ever ready to guide you. Don\’t feel depressed. That\’s devil vices over your life to keep you unwanted and useless but get this in your mind; that He loves you so much and God is love.
You need to be you-tified and beautified. No one can be you-er than you. If you are not you,then you are fake and there should be an original you. So pick up yourself and stand in God\’s love.
Become a \” BETTER YOU\”.
